APERTURE

ROADS

theres a road and it leads the eye making it perfect as a road picture
this is me and my family. we took this using a timer and layed the camera on a path in germany!
 (same description as the first)
this was taken in seville, spain. the road goes through buildings and onto a bigger street! perfect.
this is my favourite. as it goes past the bridge and up the street totally redirecting the photo's direction! i found it interesting. i hope you do too!

BALANCE AND SYMMETRY

i dont know how to describe it... but when i look at this picture i feel at peace. mainly because its jesus! but there is such an immense sense of balance in this picture.
the pews make it seem so balanced and symmetrical.
all the oranges are the same except two. but its still balanced!
yep. self-explaniotry. mainly how the two walls are the same make it seem so balanced!
the way the sign is so different makes it seem so symmetrical in a disorganized way. i don't know... it all makes sense to me!

FRAMING

the framing in this picture is unique as it is not first noticed. it is not in the foreground like usual but is instead in the background. interesting.
this picture was taken in the same place as the first and gives the other side of the spectrum. the framework is in the forground, middle ground, and background. even MORE interesting!
this framing picture gives the frame size and depth with the people before it.
well the program wouldnt let me type anything for the picture before this one so im gonna describe them both with one sentence:
the framing is in the background.

LINES

this one isnt the best example of "lines" but if you take a closer look it is. the lines just arent all in one direction
same with this one! without even knowing it when you see this picture the first thing you think of is LIIINNEEESSS. trust me bro.
this is a better example of lines as they are all in one fluent motion! ... or are they... take a closer look! the lines seem to be moving in one directions but believe it or not, the flow of the lines creates different lines all together!
lines, or no lines? many lines, or one line? you be the judge. this one's up for interpretation.
(but there are lines, believe me)
this is not a picture depicting a small skinny REGULAR line, but a large intricate line not even worthy of this blog page. its got it all, folks: small lines, big lines, circles, everything needed in a line picture. feast your eyes and enjoy!

RULE OF THIRDS

these two are of the same two people. i saw them on the side of the road in madrid playing their music and singing and couldnt think of a better rule of thirds photo. why i took two is to represent to two ways rule of thirds is present in the picture.

 pretty self-explanitory
this was taken at the seville market in Spain and is interesting to me because not only is there more than one focus of the picture, but they are all angled using the rule of thirds!
once again... self-explanitory.
